Epoxy Coating Over Ceramic Tiles

This reinforced epoxy flooring protection system is designed to deliver exceptional durability, adhesion, and surface resistance in demanding environments. It begins with a high-build, solvent-free, two-component epoxy primer that provides excellent mechanical strength and strong bonding to the substrate, forming a smooth and uniform base. Where substrate movement is anticipated, fiberglass mesh can be incorporated to enhance flexibility and reduce the risk of cracking. The system is subsequently built up with a high-performance epoxy coating, providing a seamless finish with superior resistance to mechanical wear and chemical exposure. For enhanced protection, an optional aliphatic polyurethane topcoat may be applied to improve UV stability, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and long-term aesthetic performance.
