Exterior Render Over Cement Board

This exterior rendering system is designed to deliver durable, weather-resistant, and aesthetically refined finishes on cement board substrates. It begins with a single-component cement–acrylic leveling compound that provides excellent adhesion, smooth application, and a shrinkage-free surface. A fiberglass mesh is embedded to enhance flexibility and minimize cracking, followed by an additional leveling coat to fully encapsulate the reinforcement. The system is then built up with cementitious rendering layers that provide effective surface repair, smoothing, and the option for textured decorative finishes. It is completed with a penetrating, colorless silicone water repellent that protects against water ingress while preserving the natural appearance of the substrate.
